Better Doll Conditions Give Superior Value
No one could ever escape the magic that Disney brings to our lives! I, as a child, have always been fascinated with the Disney characters and stories, and of course, went crazy over all the Disney products available in the toy stores. Like all the other young girls and young female adults who just can't help but adore Disney, my Disney doll collection has such been a thrilling experience for me as a child.
During the early 90s, when Disney dolls have flooded all toy stores with Disney dolls, countless of us just got to have the Disney's life-size replica of Tyco Ariel from "The Little Mermaid". From the movies we repeatedly watched as a kid, the beautiful mer-princess suddenly came into life and became our constant companion and best friend. Truly, Disney was successful in making these life-size Disney Princess dolls as their stories from movies and books have truly captured the hearts of not just little girls like me when I was a child, but of both young females and males fantasizing about love and relationships.
Unlike the many other people who automatically take out their newly bought dolls from their original boxes, I keep them in their boxes for safe keeping and just take each one out every time I play with my Disney Princess dolls. That way, I am able to see their boxes are still intact and the memories of what happy feelings they were when my parents bought me such beautiful dolls are rekindled.
But now that I am much older, and still gazing and sometimes getting my Disney princess dolls, it gives me the idea to one day, perhaps, auction off my beautiful dolls online. Now I know that consciously boxing my dolls in the past will eventually bring me very excellent sales later on. As we all know, dolls out of box have immediately decreased resale value as soon as their boxes are removed and thrown away. While those that stay boxed, preserve their worth the most; and those that were taken out of their boxes at a usually inferior price.
Although it is actually the individual doll collectors who will make a decision as to how much to pay for a particular doll that interests him, it would be useful if you could still keep your collection clean and preserved. So, never ever debox your doll collection. You may want to eventually sell them later on as antique Disney dolls, then you could get more than your collection's worth!
